Discover Cirma’s Inspiring Story
Our Story
The International Center for Applied Multidisciplinary Research (CIRMA) was founded on April 26, 2025, in Kinshasa, DRC, to address Africa’s urgent need for innovation in research. We work with universities, research centers, and industry to develop practical solutions to local and regional challenges. Our mission is to encourage young researchers, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, by providing opportunities for doctoral and postdoctoral studies, high-impact scientific research, and multidisciplinary collaboration. CIRMA serves as a platform where Supervisory Agencies (AGeT) and institutions join forces to foster creativity, innovation, and applied research that penetrates institutional boundaries and supports Africa’s endogenous development.
